Jadyn the Owl!

Jadyn was an owl for Halloween. She was so stinkin' cute! We went to visit Alex and Carter, then Scott and Raylene, and finally Uncle Rod and Aunt Kathy - Nana and Papa were with us during our travels. Jadyn had the most fun passing out candy with Daddy at Uncle Rod and Aunt Kathy's house. Here are a few pictures we managed to snag::

Happy birthday dear 2 year old...

 Jadyn's 2nd birthday::
We had a great time celebrating Jadyn's 2nd birthday! Can you believe that she is 2. We started a tradition of doing a small family party the night of Jadyn's birthday. This year I made lasagna and we got her an ice cream cake. Nana and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa came over. Grandma and Grandpa got her the wagon...and she didn't want to get out. :)

She loved her cake. She licked a lot of the icing off.

 Jadyn's big birthday party was Sunday night. We had a lot of friends and family over and Jadyn ran around like a crazy crazy girl!!

 She got a baby stroller for her birthday and she ran around and ran in to people. It was rather dangerous.

 She got a Mickey Mouse choo choo train. She loves it!!

Jadyn is a delightful little girl. We enjoy every minute we get with her. She has developed quite the personality including a bit of a stubborn streak. I just keep praying that God will teach her to be obedient and use her stubbornness as a good thing - and give me extra patience in the meantime!

Alex's horse show.

My sweet nephew Alex has started riding horses. Last weekend he had his first horse show. He scrambled from our apple picking adventure in St. Joe to make it to his horse show in Plesant Hill. (Later that night we went to The Legends - we put 245 miles on the car that day). Anyway, somehow I managed to go to Alex's horse show without getting any pictures of Alex. We had to leave before Alex actually got to ride (it was beyond naptime...) but he ended up getting 2nd place! Go Alex!

Apple picking

We went apple picking last weekend. I'm planning on making apple butter and we wanted Jadyn to expereience the apple picking! She absolutely loved it! She was able to pick most of the apples off the trees by herself. We just pointed to which apple we wanted and she got it for  us! She put it in the bag and then ran to the next tree. My sweet baby LOVES being outside so this was a GREAT activity for all of us!
