In 16 Days...

In 16 Days my sweet little baby will be 2.

I will be posting a few of my favorite pictures from the first 2 years of her life.

She has rocked our world.

Here is one of our first pictures of Jadyn with her Daddy. He was smitten before she was born.

Jadyn's first day of preschool

Jadyn started preschool last week. I am so excited we found a preschool that has a class for Jadyn. She is so smart :) and I really wanted something that would push her a little bit. I'm excited to see everything she learns from being in a classroom and with other kids. Here are a few pictures from her first day!

She did okay! I passed her off to Daddy and then he passed her off to Miss Trish. Jadyn didn't cry and was a happy happy girl when we picked her up. I just think this picutre is so sweet. I love my baby bunches!

To Branson and back

We took a trip to Branson over Labor Day weekend. We went with Grandma and Grandpa, Daniel and Joey, and us (duh). We went down Saturday after Alex's birthday party and went straight to Silver Dollar City. There we discovered something new about our daughter. She loves rides. Silver Dollar City has 4 rides that Jadyn can ride. The Train and the Lost Mine ride AND in kiddy land there are 2 rides that are for her. She (thankfully) wasn't tall enough to do them by herself, but her Daddy and later her cousins gladly folded themselves in half to ride the rides with her.

And she loved them.

Thank you Daddy, Daniel, and Joey for taking turns riding the rides with Jadyn. She had a blast and can't wait to go back. Daniel, occasionally Jadyn will start saying ribbit ribbit... like she knows she wants to ride again :)

Papa and the Park

Anyone reading this who knows us, knows that I love BOTH of my parents. I am so glad that Jadyn has her Nana and Papa so close! My Daddy has been able to stop by a couple of times over the last few weeks just to play with Jadyn. It's awesome. Last weekend he called to see if he could come by and he ended up having dinner with us and then we took Jadyn to the park (she calls the park "party" it's adorable).  The weather was beautiful and we found ourselves alone at the park! It was awesome. Jadyn loves getting all that attention! Here are some pictures from our adventure at the park:

She usually cries when we leave the "party," but tonight we told her to say "bye-bye" to the park. She did and was happy... until we pulled out of the parking lot. Oh well. At least we made it to the car this time!

Alex's 5th birthday party!

We had an awesome labor day weekend! It all started with the beginning:: Alex's 5th birthday party at the KC zoo! We went Saturday morning...along with 1/2 of Kansas City :) It was crowded but the weather was beautiful and we had a delightful time! My favorite thing was that Jadyn will not ride in her stroller (unless it's her idea) and Carter didn't want to ride in the wagon...but Jadyn LOVED the wagon and Carter had a GOOD time in the stroller. They are so cute!

I have a bunch of pictures of them on this rhino but they look the happiest here. They are pretty cute together :)
