Dressing up and "coloring"

A few weeks ago (over Christmas break) Greg and I moved the washer and dryer from the 3rd bedroom to the basement and converted the bedroom into a playroom for little miss. It was a hard decision for me because now I have to run downstairs to do laundry, but it was an easy decision for me because now all the toys are out of the living room.
Spreading Jadyn's toys out has been fun. She sees more of what she has. One of things she as discovered are her dress up clothes. My Mom has been buying different outfits as she finds them on clearance racks. I've showed them to Jadyn before but she's never really been excited about it... until now. Here are some pictures of Minnie Mouse, a sweet little fairy, and Jadyn as "underwear girl." I should explain the last one.... we bought her some big girl undies because she is starting to potty train and I wanted to be ready with her own little undies... Jadyn wanted to put them on over her jammies and on her head... Silly girl!

One night on break I went  out to eat with my mom and a friend. While I was getting ready Greg let Jadyn color. When I came out this is what I found:

Needless to say, we put the markers away for awhile :)

Snow Day 2011

 Snow Days! Even though in May we will be complaining about making up the days, we currently LOVING our snow days! It's fun that we both work in  school districts so we get days off together. We took Jadyn outside to play this morning. She did pretty well. She didn't like falling in the snow (she kept saying "messy messy". We stayed out for about 30 minutes. Her little nose was so red but the rest of her was warm. Here are a few pictures of our adventure...

On a different note: This morning when we got up Jadyn was on my lap and Greg leaned over and kissed me. Jadyn said "Daddy, no no no. Tell mommy you are sorry." It was so funny!!

ChRiStMaS 2010

Greg, Jadyn, and I spent the night at my parents house on Christmas eve. It's our little family tradition. We love spending the extra time with Nana and Papa and Jadyn gets to walk down the same hallway I did to see what Santa brought her! I love tradition and there is something sweet about seeing her go down that hall. Anyway, we had a fabulous day with my family.

We had a wonderful Christmas! I love my family and am so thankful we got to spend time together.

December Fun

We've had a fun December. Here are a few pictures to get caught up on our adventures. The 2nd weekend of December we went to Silver Dollar city with Nana and Papa. It was FREEZING cold! We got there just in time for the parade and left soon after! This is Jadyn and Daddy right after the parade.

 Here is Jadyn in her winter gear. Now... we just need a good snow day!

 The 3rd weekend of December we had Christmas with Greg's family. It was wonderful day of family fun. Jadyn loves to play on the piano. She actually uses 2 hands and does a pretty good job! I'm looking forward to getting her into lessons.

 Grandpa Brian got Jadyn a Woody doll for Christmas. She was very excited about it and still loves to play with it. For a few days Woody went everywhere we went. It was so cute!

 Greg got a dagger from Grandma and Grandpa in Toledo, Spain. He was and is very excited and has on many occasions embarrassed me by wearing it on his belt in front of other people. YIKES!

 The end of November we decorated the Christmas tree. Jadyn has done such a great job with the tree this year! She left it alone (for the most part) and says "Look but don't touch" often! She even got to hang a few ornaments on the tree. What a big girl! 

 Daddy has several ornaments that talk or play music. This is one of them. Jadyn was pushing the buttons and just checking things out!

I have a bunch of pictures from Christmas today but I still need to get them off the camera and stuff. We hope you had a very merry Christmas! I also hope you got to hear Jadyn say Merry Christmas because it is about as sweet as it gets; but, not as sweet as "happy birthday Jesus" which we also practiced a lot! We love this girl like CRAZY!

Happy Thanksgivings

We had such a good Thanksgiving break. We spent Thanksgiving day with my family and had Thanksgiving with Greg's family on Saturday. Here are a few pics from our adventure!
