Bubbles...bubbles....bubbles

Jadyn is so into bubbles right now. She wakes up and wants bubbles.

After these pictures she spilled this bottle. We've had about 3 bottles after that. We've also had a bubble wand. I had to buy a giant refill today. She loves to pop them. She loves to blow them. She really loves just about everything about them. She loves to get the solution on mommy. We even had to add extra bubbles to her bath last night so she could have  bubbles in there. She just watched an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse where Mickey and Pluto float away in bubbles - I think she was hoping that would happen in her bath last night. It didn't. :)

Birthday Party

Jadyn attended her first birthday party. She got an invitation in the mail and we had to RSVP. It was a very exciting occasion! She even slept with the invitation when we got it. Of course, she had no concept of what we were doing, but she was excited non-the-less. 

I, of course, forgot my camera the day of the birthday party but birthday girls' mother kindly sent me copies of the pictures with Jadyn in them. :) Now I can share with you! 

The party was a "pony ride" theme. It included the nice air conditioned building and a few games before the pony rides began! here is Jadyn and her friends getting instructions:

Then they played a game to see who could milk the cow the fastest. I was shocked because Jadyn jumped right in there and started milking! 

Jadyn got a horse for Christmas, and she loves to say "hi" to him, but that's about it! I was so surprised that she actually wanted to ride the pony! And she did ride 3 times!! 

She had fun! We are so thankful she was invited, that she behaved, and that she has new little friends :)

Sweet little Pistol Pete

My sweet little baby has been Pistol Pete lately. Don't get me wrong, we love her and love her energy, but we've also entered the "BATTLE ZONE" when it comes to a lot of things. :) Sometimes I just need to be reminded of her sweet little side :) and these pictures do the trick!

I love this girl. Always. Even when she's screaming on the floor because we said no.

To Disney and Back

We made a quick trip to Florida last week. That makes us sound important :). We were gone Tuesday-Early Saturday morning. We did Disney on Wednesday and Thursday and we did the beach on Friday. It was a good time. Here are a few pictures we have. I didn't take enough at Disney. I look forward to going back to get more of the shots I want. It was so hot while we were there that carrying the camera just made things worse!

Here is Jaydn with Handy Manny. He is the only once she would take a picture with. She said hi to a couple of others.

I know I know

I need to update. It has been so crazy around here! I am looking forward to summer in full swing.

A few weeks ago we took Alex, Carter, and Jadyn to the zoo. We had so much fun!!

Mother's Day

We had a great day on Sunday. Actually, we had a great weekend! On Friday evening we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Warrensburg. Jadyn loved seeing them again and is so excited they are home! 

Saturday we got up and went to the zoo. Then Saturday evening we visited with Aunt Kathy and Uncle Rod and then Greg took us girls for ice cream

Sunday afternoon we we went out to my parent's house. I remembered the camera, so most of our pictures are from that day. My Dad got a hold of the camera and took a few - he did a great job :) 

Uncle Kyle got out the 4 wheeler and took all the kids for rides. Jadyn loved it! She also loves her Uncle Kyle.

Jadyn and Uncle Kyle being silly. Jadyn wanted to eat her strawberry shortcake while on his lap. This makes my heart happy :) 

Jadyn got Aunt Lori to pull her around in the wagon. Several times...

I can't believe the kids are big enough to actually sit and eat at their own table. It doesn't seem possible!

Jadyn has also been in to dressing up lately. This is her "fairy dress" with her "glass slippers." We had to put it on as soon as she got up from her nap - thus the bedhead! 

I am very blessed to have some many wonderful people in my life!
