We're back!

Hello! We are back from an adventure of a lifetime! Greg and I just returned from a trip to England and Paris. We had a fabulous time! We spent 7 days in England and 3 in mainly Paris. I went with a list of things to see and we saw everything on my (revised) list! Yay! I loved England - especially the countryside. Paris was beautiful but I am very fond of my own language! We took 1300 pictures, I printed 170 of them (posted on facebook) but here are a few of us together!

Swimming Lessons

Well, we tracked her down. Connie, the lady who taught me how to swim (and did a fabulous job) is still giving swimming lessons. She doesn't let kids start until age 2, but because Greg and I put Jadyn in lessons last summer Connie felt like Jadyn could handle it! I couldn't wait to get started. We took Jadyn to the pool and she was happy until Connie took her from me. Then Jadyn screamed, and screamed, and screamed... I headed to the car and Greg stayed behind...for about 2 seconds then Connie kicked him out too. We listened to Jadyn's swimming lessons from the car! The second lesson Jadyn did better, but we still had to leave so Greg snuck down with the camera and took some pictures. Connie ended up getting sick with strep so lessons were cancelled for the rest of the week, but we get to do a make up week later this summer. Jadyn did a great job in the first few days! Maybe she will be my little fish after all!

Memorial Day!

Nana and Papa had the fam over for Memorial Day. We had a great time swimming with the kiddos and then watching Greg, Kyle, and Scott play an exciting game of Marco-Polo! It was fun to spend the afternoon with family and good friends!

Playing in the backyard!

We go to church at 8:00 on Sunday morning. We love it. We are usually home around 10. The past few Sunday's we have been taking Jadyn outside to play before we go meet my parents for Sunday lunch. Here are some pics from our adventure last Sunday!

Zoo... again :)

I always get upset with the blogs I read where the people post pictures is several separate posts...and now here I am doing it. We have Picasa picture up loader and it takes HALF the time to upload pics to the blog, but I haven't figured out how to get pics from different albums to the same blog! Yikes. So, today you get to see pics from different days but in different posts!

We went to to the zoo again on Saturday. We had such a great time! It was a spur of the moment trip and we hit up Australia.

A trip to the zoo

Last weekend we went the zoo. Greg and I are friends of the zoo (no comments please) and we received 2 free passes, so last Sunday after church we took Nana and Papa to the zoo. We had a great time! Jadyn usually only lasts though either Africa or Australia, so we went to Africa because that is where the bigger animals are. Jadyn wanted to walk around most of the zoo - she made the entire Africa loop! It was a good thing though because halfway through our stroller broke! You should know, I hate the stroller. I've hated it since day 1 but we like the infant seat that comes with it so we've made do, but now I just MAY finally have the excuse I need to get a new stroller! Yay for me!

Anyway, when we first arrived at the zoo the KC fire department had trucks set up for the kids to crawl though. Daddy is a former fireman so it was cool to let Jadyn walk through the truck with her Papa. They are good buddies anyway :)

We made sure to cross the suspension bridge to visit the gorilla off of Africa. We just missed the zoo keeper chat at the gorilla, but he was still posing for pictures. Greg had the camera and got a couple of Papa, Jadyn, and the gorilla. It was hard to get all 3 of them to cooperate :)

Before the stroller died we did have Jadyn in it. She isn't happy because she wants to be running, but I snapped a picture of her bossing us around anyway. That's my little strong-willed jelly bean!

She is a cutie - that's for sure. Well, that just about wraps up our zoo adventures! We had a good time and are waiting anxiously to go back! Yay!

BOWS!!

Jadyn came to me tonight with her bucket of bows and kept handing me bows to put in her hair, so I happily obliged! She is so stinking cute! Anyway, she wore her hair like this until bedtime. I just love this little girl and I'm so EXCITED that summer is here and I get to spend lots and lots of time with her!
